PASTOR GENERAL'S REPORT, NOVEMBER 2, 1981
PAGE 13
Gospel. P.T. circulation in this area has tripled in the three years
that the newsstand program has been operating. Brethren continue to
be encouraged by God's Apostle's articles, letters, sermon tapes and
leadership.
Average church attendance this month is higher than
normal.
TUPELO, MS--ROGER
w.
WEST: New PM activity continuing to come along.
Relatives of members starting to become more active. Newsstand pro
gram doing very well. Sabbath of the 15th brought the record atten
dance for 1981--162. Had the largest number of our young people ever
go to SEP. All came back enthused and wanting to return next year.
Four already starting on plans for A.C.
LOUISVILLE, KY--RAY A. MEYER: Attendance has increased on the average
by about ten over the last month. This is a good trend and hopefully
it will continue. The biggest positive trend is a big jump in PM
activity. Average had been one or two per month. Now it is 8-10.
This is very encouraging. PT distribution at the fair was very suc
cessful.
ALBANY, NY--LYLE WELTY: PMs continue to comment on how impressed they
are with the telecasts. It is having a strong impact in this area.
One lady watches all the religious programs on Sunday morning and can
disprove them all, except Mr. Armstrong's.
HARRISBURG, PA--JIM ROSENTHAL: Many thanks to Mr. Armstrong for send
ing Mr. Gerald Waterhouse on world tour again! We had a very inspir
ing, motivating and full Sabbath with elegant refreshments served
after a three and three-quarters hours meal, thoroughly lavished with
good spiritual fellowship.
BETHLEHEM, PA--RAY A. LISMAN:
Kathy and I both really appreciated
being able to have Mr. Jackson here with us for four days. Many mem
bers expressed their appreciation to me, stating that they received a
tremendous boost from his sermon.
CHAMPAIGN, IL--RANDY HOLM:
People greatly appreciate hearing about
Mr. Armstrong's activities and plans in the PGR.
MERIDEN, CT--L. WOOLDRIDGE:
The brethren are very eager
refresher. This is a great
ing.
Overall, the people's attitudes are good.
to hear and learn what was given at the
area. Lots of PM activity--church grow-

COWAN, JR.: Have been going through ser
mons based on the notes that I took while at the three-week refresher
program. The response to these sermons has be1!n very positive. I have
been extremely busy since returning to Chattanooga, but the fruits
produced have been very rewarding.
MIDDLESBORO, KY--MEL DAHLGREN: The refresher program was just fantas
tic! We received enough spiritual meat to serve well-balanced meals
to the brethren for quite some time! Thank you very much for the op
portunity and privilege of attending the 14th session!
