PASTOR GENERAL'S REPORT, NOVEMBER 2, 1981
PAGE 14
CINCINNATI (WEST), OH--J. E. BARNESS: Bible study on upswing in lives
of members. There is much more effort to really know what and why we
believe--not taking it for granted.

GREENVILLE, s.c.--RON JAMESON: The brethren of the Church in this
area are becoming more involved in the activities.
We have more
coming out to picnics and other .activities than ever. We had more
married couples attending our marriage preparation seminars in our
home than we had single people. They are eager to learn more.

WEEKLY LETTER COMMENTS
Since many brethren begin or complete their third tithe year with the Feast
of Tabernacles, we thought these letters sharing third tithe blessings
would be inspiring and appropriate.
--Richard Rice, Mail Processing Center
Brethren Recount Third Tithe Blessings
This is my first third tithe year. It is truly amazing how God keeps
His promise that if we are faithful in giving our third tithe, He will
bless all the work of our hands (Deut. 14:29). During this year God
has truly been faithful in His promise. My job is one where I work
with my hands.
It seems that during the year things just fitted
better. Working has been more enjoyable than ever before. My job also
depends on how much work I can produce and my pay is based upon that.
