PASTOR GENERAL'S REPORT, February 27, 1981
Page 13
We continually thank God for the faithfulness and loving care His
Apostle continually shows for the Church, and for us ministers,
his sons in the Lord. Finally, thanks to you and those who work
with you in Ministerial Services for the excellent facilities and
arrangements which made our stay in Pasadena so pleasant and so
refreshing. Tell Carlton Green that both of us hold him respon
sible for our gaining twelve pounds between us!

Dear Mr. Tkach and all of those in Ministerial Services conducting
the Refreshing Program:
We want to thank all of you for your hard work and efforts put
forth during the Refreshing Program, and for your dedication to
God's Work and loyalty to Mr. Herbert W. Armstrong. We greatly
appreciated the fellowship with our fellow servants, and
especially those in the Spanish-speaking area of God's Work.
It was very refreshing to see Ambassador College growing and
becoming more perfect, and the attitudes of all of those striv
ing together in harmony to get this Great Work accomplished.

We're only half way through the eighth session of the Refreshing
Program but already have over one hundred pages of notes from the
classes! It seems practically everything is valuable, interesting,
and worthy of note. It is truly a refreshing experience to be
reminded and strengthened in the plain truth of God so we can go
forth with power and confidence to teach those God has called in
unity of spirit and doctrine. Thanks to you, the staff, and
especially Mr. Armstrong for making it possible.

Dear Mr. Tkach:
Carol and I want to thank you for the opportunity to be here for
the Refreshing Program. I can't help but think that the unity and
oneness God is creating in His Work at this time is very good in
His sight. It is very good to be here and be a partthat
"creation."
I think that we on the Refreshing Program can relate to that
anecdote you told Sabbath...that we're created with two ends, one
to think with and other to sit on. Right now it's almost ''tails
