In the past year, my daughter has been in the latter stages of hepatitis C. However, she did not request prayer. We prayed for her anyway. A couple of days ago, the doctor told her that there was no longer any sign of the hepatitis C!

We thank God for healing her!

Late one night, about a year and a half ago, I was having severe chest pain. My daughter took me to the emergency room and I was admitted to the hospital. I can't remember any more of that night. The next day I was told that I must have an operation right away. I had a hole in the esophagus and a herniated stomach. Later that day, I was airlifted to another hospital, where the operation took place.

I was later told that I should have bled to death on the way to the emergency room that night! Also it was almost 24 hours before the operation.

My husband asked the church brethren to pray for me. I am very thankful for their prayers! I am thankful to God for His mercy, keeping me from bleeding to death and allowing the operation to be a success.

A few years ago, a relative had a damaged right hand. The fingers were disconnected. He went to a doctor and was told that he must have an operation to repair his fingers. He couldn't do that and soon moved to another state. He was so pitiful, that I requested prayer for him.

A year later, I saw him and asked how his hand was. He showed me. It was completely normal! He did not have the operation. I told him that we prayed for him. He was so happy and exclaimed to my daughter: You see, God does answer prayers!! He is not in the church but believes in God. I was very thankful to God for this and for the prayers of the church brethren! It increased my faith.

Years ago, while living in a mountainous area, we had no electricity. The weather was hot and there was a drought at the time. I was alone and sick from the heat and other things. I went outside and sat down on a bench to pray. I asked God to please bring rain and cool things off. Immediately after the prayer, I looked up and was surprised to see an isolated thunderstorm actually forming over the river nearby. It began to sprinkle a little and I started back to the house. By the time I got there it was pouring down rain! It continued for a while. An hour later, I looked at the porch thermometer and saw that the temperature had dropped 20 degrees!

Afterward, my husband came back from a town two miles away. He said: It must have rained down here, there are puddles everywhere! It didn't rain anywhere else. Only on our property! I thanked God for this and it gave me more faith and hope. I had been changing my life around and have observed the Sabbath ever since!

In the early part of our marriage, my husband got the mumps. We already had one child. He was infertile afterward. Four years passed and he was anointed for this. Since that time we have had three more children. We were thankful to God for His mercy and help.

When I was young, I had problems with my eyes. Something akin to seizures. I was having trouble being alone in public. Once, I could not see well enough to cross a street with a lot of traffic on it. Another time it happened downtown and then once at school. I was anointed and it went away. I have been very thankful to God for healing me.

These are some of the things that God has done for us. There are others too!
