challenging, intellectual cunostty
seized her, and she decided to make
the first "scientific experiment."
The scientific
method
is observa–
tion, experimentation, and reason,
but rejection of revelation. She disbe–
lieved, disobeyed, seized the forbid–
den fruit, and induced her husband
to join the exper iment. T hey took to
themselves production of the knowl–
edge of wha t is good and what is
evil.
Result of that experiment: They
died! And their posterity have been
disbelieving, disobeying, relying on
themselves for the product ion of
knowledge,
and dying.
ever since!
1 noticed how J esus carne with a
message of factual truth from God.
But though sorne "believed on Him,"
they didn't believe what He said! 1
read in the book of John: "As he
spake these words, many believed on
him. T hen said J esus to those J ews
which believed.on him, 1f ye continue
in my word [His revealed knowl–
edge], then are ye my disciples in–
deed; and ye shall know the truth,
and t he t ru th shall make you free"
(John 8:30-31 ).
T hey answered him contro–
versially.
Jesus said, " Ye seek to kili me,
because my word hath no place in
you .... lf ye were Abraham's chil–
dren, ye would do the works of Abra–
ham. But now ye seek to kili me, a
man that hath told you the t ruth,
which 1 have heard of God: this did
not Abraham.... And because 1 tell
yo~
the truth, ye believe me not"
(J ohn 8:37, 45).
Actually, biblical revelation shows
that the
God
whose teaching was dis–
believed by Adam and Eve was the
very same Personage who later be–
carne J esus Christ. The message J e–
sus brought was the identical teach–
ing He had imparted to the first hu–
mans. But after three and a half
years of Ch rist 's teaching, there were
only 120 disciples (Acts 1: 15).
These grew and multiplied for a
while. But then the great persecution
set in (Acts 8:1). And soon ensued
the " lost century" in the history of
the Church. When the curtain lifts,
about a century later, we behold a

church called "Christian," teaching
doctrines which are mostly the very
antithesis of Christ's teaching- and
His gospel, the Kingdom of
God,

In this world have sprouted up
