WHY THIS ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL ISSUE
Exactly 40 years ago this month, the first issue of the Plain Truth appeared.
Our readers through the years have been kept informed of the rush of world
events. In no other area of the world do the manifold, conflictlng atms of
humanity focus so acutely as in the Middle East. Arabs and lsraells, oll
producers and oll consumers, the capitalist West and the communtst East
all plead thelr individual cases. In this special issue we bring our readers
the points of view of the peoples and nations lnvolved and show where
the world stands now in the aftermath of the fourth Middle East war.
