now notice the very first verse in all
the Bible:
"In
the beginning God
created the heaven and the earth"
(Genesis
1: 1).
The Hebrew words in which
M
oses originally wrote that sentence
imply a perfect creation - not one
in chaos and confusion, as described
in the second verse. Many scriptures
in other parts of the Bible reveal
great world-shaking events that oc–
curred between the time of the first
and second verses ofGenesis one.
In the book of Job the original
creation is described as so perfect
and so beautiful that the angels
shouted for joy. God the Creator is
described as asking Job: "Where
wast thou when
I
laid the founda–
tions of the earth? declare, if thou
has t understanding. When the
morning stars sang together, and all
tbe sons of God shouted for joy"
(Job 38:4, 7).
There was worldwide peace on
earth for sorne time after the earth
was first created, because the gov–
ernment of God was being adrninis–
tered here then. For how long a
duration is not revealed.

years ago.
When this earth was first created,

verse set one of two highest-ranking
archangels - a cherub - who was
thoroughly experienced in the ad–
ministration of God's government
as King to administer the govern–
ment of God ove"r the earth.
And all that, too, is knowledge
hidden from tbe world today. And
that involves also another important
bit of hidden knowledge - the very
ORlGIN
of this Satan, the devil.
Where did he come from? Did God
deliberately create a devi l?
Notice Ezekiel's description of the
origin of Satan: "Son of man, take
up a lamentation upon the king of
Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith
the Lord God; Thou sealest up the
sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in
beauty. Thou hast been in Eden the
garden ofGod; every precious stone
was thy covering . .. the work–
manship of thy tabrets and of thy
pipes was prepared in thee in the
day that thou wast
created
Thou art
the anointed cherub that covereth;
and 1 have set thee so: thou wast
upon the holy mountain of God;
thou hast walked up and down in
the midst of the stones of tire. Thou
wast perfect
in
thy ways from the
day that thou wast
created,
till in–
iquity was found
in
thee .... thou
hast sinned. Therefore I will cast
thee as profane out of the mountain
of God: and I will destroy thee, O
covering cherub, from the midst of
the stones of fire. Thine heart was
lifted up because of thy beauty,
thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by
reason of thy brightness:

will cast
thee to the ground,
I
will lay thee
before kings, that they may behold
thee" (Ezekiel28: 12-17).
The real ruler of the ancient city
of Tyre, the economic giant of those
days, was Satan.
Notice what Isaiah revea1s about
this Lucifer or Satan. "How art thou
fallen from heaven,
O
Lucifer, son
of the morning! How art thou cut
down to the ground, which didst
weaken the nations! For thou hast
said jn thine heart,

will ascend into
heaven,

will exalt my throne above
the stars of God:
1 will
sit also upon
the mount of the congregation, in
the sides of the north:
1
will ascend
above the heights of the clouds;
1
will be like the most High. Yet thou
shalt be brought down to hell , to the
sides of the pit" (lsaiah 14: 12-15).
This super archangel who became
Satan led one third of all the angels
- the whole earth's population - in
his war of aggression. And he is de–
ceiving the whole earth today!
As a result of this colossal earth–
wide mutiny and rebeliion against
the government of God, a physical
