was not extant during this session. It was replaced with relaxed

excitement and perhaps a revival of that "flush of first love"

PUBLISHING SERVICES UPDATE
Bob and Shirl Smith
--Joe Tkach, Ministerial Services
The Apri!. issue of the U.S. PLAIN TRUTH will be sent to 1,609,000 subscri
bers. This is a 74% increase over last year and reflects a tremendous
growth in response from TV, newsstands and blow-ins.
The blow-in subscription card, which is inserted in those magazines which
are mailed, is adding as many new subscribers per month as were added from
all sources just a few years ago. Requests for extra newsstand magazines
keep pouring in, bringing the total number of magazines requested to over
200,000 so far this year. Circulation of the U.S. newsstand issue is now
over 1,300,000 copies per month.
