NANT being made-after Christ's
return in POWER a nd GLORY!
This should be tied up with
Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy
28. God promised ancient Is rael,
under Moses, nationa l wealth
a nd greatness UPON OBEOIENCE.
But , if they con tinually diso–
beyed, God would remove the
birt hr ight promise for 2,520
years. This expired in a bout A.D.
1800. Britain a nd America sud–
denly grew until we possessed
more than two thirds of all the
cultivated wealth of the entire
earth . All other na tions combined
possessed a little more than one
fourth!
But al ready Britain 's sun has
set!

EMPIRE in world his tory.
It
is no
longer "Great" Britain.

is now
one of the smaller nat ions.
It
has
lost its tremendous possessions.
Concerning the United States,
in Leviticus 26:19, God says, " I
will break the pride of thy
power."

still has the military
power, although Russia is now
passi ng her, but she is afraid to
use it-has no pride in it. The
United States has been held at
bay by little Iran-held up to
scorn and ridicule before the
world. She is on the way oowN–
a nd
OUT!
In Leviticus 26 God says that,
once He has fulfilled His uncon–
ditional PROMISE to Abra ham in
our individua l a nd collective na–
tional greatness, if we continue in
ou r sins, He will PUN ISH us
beyond a ll na tural results of our
own folly!

verse 8: "Yet will

the nations.

This follows the prophecy of a
third o f our people dying from
famine and disease, and a third
by destruction of our cities-"by
the sword" - and the remaining
third taken as captive slaves to
enemy lands.

12: 14, speaking of a time now
very soon to come,

Woe to you who do. No one else

We have never yet come to a
time when men will clutch at
their stomach a nd loins, in fr ight
a nd fea r and in pain as a woman
in chi ldbirth! Such a time is now
JUST AROUND THE CORNER! THIS

never could have started thinking
of a magazine, back in 1927, in
the following manner:: " 1 want to
sta rt a magazine, because J've
had magazine experience in writ–
ing. What kind of magazine will 1
ENJOY writing and publishing?
What kind of magazine- a nd
what style- is best adapted to
my ta lents and desires? Should it
be a weekly NEWS magazine, a
picture magazine, a human-inter–
est magazine, or a more literary
magazine? " My mind neve r
flowed down tha t cha nnel.
1 had come to have a basic
UNOERSTANDING of the TRUTH!
God's word is TRUTH! I felt the
urge- the obliga tion- to get that
TRUTH across to others. 1 ·wanted
to ma ke it PLAI N. ( wanted them to
UNDERSTAND it, as God had
opened my mind to understand.

magazine was firs t conceived,
this world has its troubles, prob–
lems and evils, engendering suf–

come to know the Bible reveals
the causes and the cures. I knew
it promises the wor ld 's ONLY
HOPE- the WORLD TOMORROW!

that hope over to the public.
l knew, in 1927, that if

contained mere bib–

in religious-sounding King J ames
language, it could not fulfill its
goa l- might even become a

hand, if I made it solely secula r
in tone and content it could not
succeed in its purpose. Hence the
