Pastor's Comments June 15, 2012

To His disciples, Jesus Christ said in response to their request to teach them how to pray:

Based on what is now taking place in this country, and the world, the prayers of the people of God for the return of Jesus Christ and the establishment of His government and rule over all nations should be realized more now than ever before!

The Polls and the News Media are making known that the over-whelming majority of the peoples of the House of Joseph (Ephraim, Britain; and Manasseh, America), are sinking ever lower in all areas of debauchery and into the cesspool of immorality!

In America: They make known the President and his Administration, the majority of Congress, and the Supreme Court all the way down to many of the states, some of the larger banks, department stores, hardware stores, hotels, and even General Mills Cereal Company, are openly accepting the “Gay Pride”, people and same sex marriages.

Britain, Canada, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand are as deeply involved in the excesses of immorality as is in America. So are the other tribes of Israel: Iceland, Finland, Sweden, Switzerland, Holland, France, Denmark, Norway, Belgium, Luxembourg and Judah.

The Churches in all these countries, and all others, who do not take part or show their peaceful disagreement with what is being done— are showing their support of them by their tolerance of it, and will suffer the same consequences from God’s wrath.

“And IF the people of the land SHOULD IN ANY WAY HIDE THEIR EYES . . . THEN I WILL SET My Face against that man and against his family, and I will cut him off from the people, and all who prostitute themselves with him to commit harlotry with Molech (Leviticus 20:4-5).

Looking ahead to our times, and knowing the House of Israel would come to this low point in immorality, God used the prophets of old to describe Israel as pictured by Sodom and Gomorrah:

“. . . Alas, sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a brood of evil doers, children who are corrupters! They have forsaken the LORD, they have PROVOKED to anger the Holy One of Israel, they have TURNED AWAY backward. Why should you be stricken again (terrorists, warfare, the fury of nature)? You will REVOLT more and more. The whole head (leadership on all levels) is sick, and the whole heart faints (no backbone-fearful-political correctness), from the sole of the foot (the governed people) even to the head. There is NO soundness in it, but wounds and bruises and putrefying sores . . . strangers devour your land (immigrants) . . . unless the LORD of hosts had left to us a very small remnant (Romans 11:4-5) we would have become like Sodom, we would have been made like Gomorrah (utterly destroyed, Genesis 18:20; 19:24-25) . . . Hear the word of the LORD, YOU RULERS OF GEMORRAH, give ear to the LAW of our God, YOU RULERS OF GOMORRAH . . . Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the EVIL of your doings BEFORE My eyes. Cease to do evil and learn to do good; seek justice, rebuke the oppressor; defend the fatherless, plead for the widow . . . “(Isaiah 1:1-11).

“Say to them: ‘As I live,’ says the LORD God, ‘I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked TURN from his way and live. . . .’ (Ezekiel 33:11).

Are we affected in such a godly manner to be sighing and crying upon seeing through the eyes of the News Media what is taking place with the peoples of the House of Joseph and other tribes of Israel?

Though we as God’s people realize they are spiritually deceived, it nevertheless hurts to see what they are doing to themselves and their children without grasping what they do.

Seeing through the eyes of the News Media as never before, the sad state of this country and Britain, those of us who are so wonderfully blessed and graced by God to be a part of this very small remnant, should be praying more fervently for the soon return of Jesus Christ back to this earth and the establishment of His Kingdom, His Governmental Rule over Israel and all the other nations of this earth,

For very soon now these dominating evils will be dealt with by God in a very similar manner as He dealt with the peoples of Sodom and Gomorrah.

Their sins were so great that only Lot and his family were counted worthy to be

removed by the angels before the Angel brought the destructive fire on those cities!

And all their people were burned to death—including Lot’s own family who refused to take warning from him, laughed at him, accusing him of joking (Genesis 19:12-14).

In like manner, soon Nuclear Bombs will fall on both America and Britain—the blast and the extremely intense fire from them will burn up a third of the House of Joseph, and another third will be taken into captivity and removed from their lands to Europe by the Revived Roman Empire (Ezekiel 5:12).

Along with the peoples of the nations of Israel, who will be taken into captivity, will be those of the Churches of God who will not be accounted worthy to escape and will likewise experience the horrors of the Great Tribulation!

There is a need of praying fervently that God’s will have tender mercy for them knowing they will have to endure the horrors of it to their excruciating painful deaths. Sadly, this will be their only chance to wake up, repent, and be counted worthy to be in the First Resurrection (Revelation 6:9-11; 3:18-22).

At the same time, each one of the faithful few is exhorted by Jesus Christ to – “Watch therefore, and Pray always that YOU may be counted worthy to escape all these things (preceding verses), that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man” (Luke 21:36).

“Therefore we MUST give the more earnest HEED to the things we have heard (and been taught by Jesus Christ through His late apostle), LEST we drift away” (Hebrews 2:1).

The remaining time is now so short that the special angels appointed by God are MARKING those who will be counted worthy to escape those horrors, while marking others for death.

“. . . And the LORD said to him (His angel), ‘Go through the midst of the city through the midst of Jerusalem (Jerusalem – the ancient capital of Israel and therefore representative of the Tribes of Israel), and PUT A MARK on the foreheads of the men WHO SIGH AND CRY over all the abominations that are done within it.’

To the others (angels) He said in my hearing, “Go after him through the city and KILL; do NOT let your eye spare, NOR have any pity. Utterly slay old and young men, maidens and little children; BUT DO NOT COME NEAR ANYONE ON WHOM IS THE MARK; and begin at My Sanctuary. . . .” (Ezekiel 9:1-11; Revelation 11:1)).

Though Jesus Christ was tortured, beaten, and finally put to death by the Romans, however it was actually Christ’s own people who instigated and brought about His death; therefore they were the ones responsible for his death.

While realizing that Satan the devil has deceived the whole world (Revelation 12:9), Jesus Christ knew they did not really understand what they had done to Him. For this reason, shortly before He died on the tree, He cried out, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do” (Luke 23:34).

While preaching to the many Jews standing before him on the Day of Pentecost in 31 A. D., the Apostle Peter also added to what Jesus Christ had said in His prayer to His Father:

“. . . But you denied the Holy One and the Just . . . and KILLED the Prince of life . . . yet now, brethren, I know that you did it IN IGNORANCE, as did also your rulers” (Acts 3:12-17).

“. . . But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery (the Gospel), the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory (God’s Master Plan for the salvation of all mankind), which NONE of the rulers of this world knew; for had they known, they would NOT have crucified the Lord of glory (I Corinthians 2:6-8).

With this understanding in mind, perhaps we can better understand the fullness of what Jesus Christ said about His Father sending Him into this world:

“For God so loved the world (not their evil ways, but their potential within His Master Plan of Salvation) that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever (comes to) BELIEVE in Him should NOT perish (the second death, Revelation 20:14-15), but have everlasting life. For God did NOT send His Son into the world to CONDEMN the world (to pronounce final judgment on mankind), but that the world through Him might be saved” (John 3:16-17).

The opportunity for the salvation of all mankind will begin in the millennium and end at the conclusion of the Great White Throne Judgment period of time.

“And He (Christ) will destroy on (or from) this mountain (Mount Zion – where Jesus Christ will establish His throne to rule over all nations) the surface of the COVERING CAST over all people, and THE VEIL that is spread over all nations” (Isaiah 25:7).

Christ and His Bride will be taking the gospel to all Israel and shortly thereafter to the remaining nations of the earth. It is in this manner the following Scripture will be fulfilled:

“. . . For the earth shall [come to] be filled with the knowledge of the LORD as the waters cover the sea” (Isaiah 11:9).

“But no longer will earth’s mortal beings be deceived. Now the all-Powerful Christ and the immortal saints ruling under Him will BEGIN removing the scales that have BLINDED human minds.”

With this big picture in mind, and the LOVE of God we should also have for all of mankind, perhaps we can understand ALL the more reason WHY we should, as Jesus Christ taught His disciples, be praying with our whole hearts:
