God’s Warning Message
“An end! The end has come upon the four corners of the land! Now the end has come upon you, and I will send My anger against you; I will judge you according to your ways and I will repay you for all of your abominations My eye will NOT spare you, nor will I have pity; but I will repay your ways and your abominations shall be in your midst; then you SHALL KNOW that I am the LORD” (Ezekiel 7:2-6).
"A Possible Revolution in Manesseh?"
Dear Brethren,
I have no way of really knowing how many of you are watching the Glenn Beck Program on FOX or any other news source There are any number of them out there. Perhaps you are seeing some of what I am hearing and reading that strongly indicates among other bad news there will be a revolution in this country sometime in the future. We read of one prediction by Mr. Gerald Celente (See Pastor’s Comments 2-11-09).
As all of you should well know we are not political. We take no active part in any election other than praying about it; nor do we advocate rebellion or the use of guns against anyone. I personally do not own a gun.
All of us as members of God’s true Church should know we are to be non-violent. Scripture teaches us we are to trust in God and Jesus Christ for our safety in all areas. At the same time we have our part to do in order to receive those blessings.
As we see the beginning of the horrors coming to pass, as prophesied by Christ and His prophets, our protection and needs have been promised and will be provided IF we have a close and abiding relationship with our Father and Jesus Christ while doing our exhorted part to have those blessings
Jesus Christ cautioned us as His people to “. . . WATCH AND PRAY ALWAYS that you might be accounted worthy to ESCAPE all of these things that shall come to pass and to stand before the Son of Man (Luke 21:36).
To watch – means to stay current with the national and international news and then view what we come to learn in light of Bible prophecy. This is exactly what Mr. Armstrong preached through his lifetime years. And that is why I write as I do in these comments and also the articles that I write for the Journal (Churches Newspaper, Big Sandy, Texas).
Forewarning of Future Problems
Shortly before He was crucified Jesus Christ spoke of the persecution and problems that would come upon His people. In so doing, He said: “These things I have spoken to you, that you should not be made to stumble. They will put you out of the synagogues; yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God service. . . . But these things I have told you that WHEN the time comes, you may remember that I told you of them. . . .” (John 16:1-3, 5).
In this context it is noteworthy to consider the following astute statement:
Glenn Beck on a recent program on FOX took a quote from former Governor William Fulbright of Arkansas who had made the following astute statement: “We must dare to think about the unthinkable because when things become unthinkable thinking stops! Action becomes mindless. Planning for the unthinkable will allow them to act rationally while everyone else panics! Make the unthinkable thinkable!”
When we consider this statement in light of what Jesus said we should realize we must not put our heads in the sand but be acquainted with the prophecies that make known what to expect while realizing how close we are to the end of this age in view of what we are now seeing and what is being predicted.
A Revolution is Being Predicted in the near Future
If there is a revolution, and we hope and should pray there will not be, it will be a terrifying time for everyone in this country. Whether it will occur or not—we must not dismiss the predictions being made as coming from wild-eyed fanatics for they are not.
Though I will take a few quotes from respected writers it is my suggestion that one search this subject on the internet.

In 2009 we’re going to see the worst economic collapse ever, the ‘Greatest Depression’, says Gerald Celente, U.S. trend forecaster. He believes it’s going to be very violent in the U.S.,
Now people are at the
edge. They’re stressed out.
Look, the Americans are the most depressed nation on the world
already. They take more antidepressant drugs than anybody, plus the
other kinds of drugs that they are taking. You’re going to see
crime levels in America that are going to rival the third world.
Welcome Mexico City. You’re going to start seeing people being
kidnapped in this country like they do in other underdeveloped
nations. So it’s going to be very violent in America.

You’re not exaggerating?
G.C.: I’m not exaggerating, the facts are there. I have a saying: when people lose everything and they have nothing to lose, they lose it. You’re going to see people saying, off with their heads. There’s going to be another revolution in this country.
RT: When will this revolution that you have forecasted in your Trends journal happen and what will ignite it?
G.C.: It’s going to be a tax revolt. We’re going to start seeing a tax revolt in the United States. People are one job away from losing everything. We’re seeing more and more closures, people are being laid off. People are stretched to the limits. And what do they do in New York State? Some130 new taxes are being proposed, they’re raising sales taxes. There’s going to be a tax revolt in this country from property taxes first and school taxes second. That’s what we’re going to see.”

The man who predicted the 1987 stock market crash and the fall of the Soviet Union is now forecasting revolution in America, food riots and tax rebellions - all within four years, while cautioning that putting food on the table will be a more pressing concern than buying Christmas gifts by 2012.
Gerald Celente, the CEO of Trends Research Institute, is renowned for his accuracy in predicting future world and economic events, which will send a chill down your spine considering what he told Fox News this week.
Celente says that by 2012 America will become an undeveloped nation, that there will be a revolution marked by food riots, squatter rebellions, tax revolts and job marches, and that holidays will be more about obtaining food, not gifts.
In a separate recent interview, Celente went further on the subject of revolution in America.
“There will be a revolution in this country,” he said. “It’s not going to come yet, but it’s going to come down the line and we’re going to see a third party and this was the catalyst for it: the takeover of Washington, D. C., in broad daylight by Wall Street in this bloodless coup. And it will happen as conditions continue to worsen.”
“The first thing to do is organize with tax revolts. That’s going to be the big one because people can’t afford to pay more school tax, property tax, any kind of tax. You’re going to start seeing those kinds of protests start to develop.”
“It’s going to be very bleak. Very sad. And there is going to be a lot of homeless, the likes of which we have never seen before. Tent cities are already sprouting up around the country and we’re going to see many more.”
“We’re going to start seeing huge areas of vacant real estate and squatters living in them as well. It’s going to be a picture the likes of which Americans are not going to be used to. It’s going to come as a shock and with it, there’s going to be a lot of crime. And the crime is going to be a lot worse than it was before because in the last 1929 Depression, people’s minds weren’t wrecked on all these modern drugs – over-the-counter drugs, or crystal meth or whatever it might be. So, you have a huge underclass of very desperate people with their minds chemically blown beyond anybody’s comprehension.

R. Corsi a reporter for the WorldNetDaily reports that the proposed
bill, which has received little mainstream media attention, appears
designed to create the type of detention center that those concerned
about use of the military in
domestic affairs fear could be used as concentration camps for
political dissidents, such as occurred in
Nazi Germany.
The bill also appears to expand the President's
emergency power, much as the executive order signed by President Bush
on May 9, 2007, that gave the President the authority to declare an
emergency and take over the direction of all federal, state, local,
territorial and tribal governments without even consulting
Congress.
Corsi further reported that the Department of
Homeland Security (DHS) has awarded a $385 million contract to
Houston-based KBR, Halliburton's former engineering and construction
subsidiary, (based in
Dubai) to build temporary detention centers on an "as-needed"
basis in
national emergency situations.
According
to Adrian Michaels, a London reporter says the French are continuing
to revolt. Teachers, television employees, postal workers, students
and masses of other public-sector workers are united in
a hugely popular strike with car workers, supermarket staff,
journalists and thousands of others in
the private sector protesting the depression that has hit their
country like a ton of bricks.
One poll said that 75 per cent
of the public supported the action, which has the backing of the
large union groups and opposition socialists. It will be a big test
for President Nicolas Sarkozy but, more importantly, the strike will
mark the biggest protest so far in
one of the world's largest economies against the grief and distress
being caused by the catastrophic global downturn.
In
America
too it is turning into a winter of discontent Americans not having
money to pay the heating bills, not able to afford gasoline for their
cars, unable to pay their mortgages and no apparent bail out for them
in
site. American protests are expected to be widespread as more and
more Americans lose their jobs and become homeless and as the rich
get richer and the poor get poorer the gathering storms of discontent
are darker now then any anybody can remember, Yes, it is expected to
get worse than the great depression.
Parallels
between the 1930s have tended to focus on the numbers — a lack
of growth and waning consumer confidence is now prevalent worldwide.
It
is feared by many governments that history will repeat itself as in
the 1930s where economic hardship spawned major demonstrations. It
allowed extremists to gather support after a loss of faith in
the government and politicians. Economic catastrophe bred Franco,
Mussolini and Hitler.”

Added to the above is an interview Glenn Beck had with a gun manufacturer this week on his program. His guest stated that beginning with the election of the new president people began lining up to purchase guns. He further said they cannot keep up with the demand for guns and ammunition. _______________________________________________________________________
The End-time Prophecies
As we seriously think about the possibility of a revolution in this country along with the collapse of the economy to be followed by the famine and disease epidemics, then the Great Tribulation, there should be great concern for the people who have no promised protection at all from God.
It is with this in mind that it is worthwhile in this context to put before you the writing of the prophet Jeremiah and his sorrow from last week’s comments for the doomed nation of Judah, a type of this nation today:
“O
My soul, my soul! I am pained in my very heart! My heart makes a
noise in me; I cannot hold my peace, b
ecause
you have heard, O
my soul, the sound
of the trumpet, the alarm of war.
Destruction upon
destruction is cried (warnings), for the whole land is [will be]
plundered. Suddenly my tents (home) are plundered, and my curtains
in a moment. How long will I see the standard, and
hear the sound of the trumpet?”
(Jeremiah
4:19-21).
While thinking about where we are in time and seeing the nation and the world coming apart at the seams, it is so very sad to observe the many problems within the Churches of God while realizing hardly anyone bothers to really take a look at themselves, where they now are, and what they have been led to believe by false leaders, and believing they have nothing to be concerned about, not really grasping that Scripture makes known otherwise.
T
he
time is almost upon us when they will wish with all of their hearts
they had accepted and obeyed God’s government while accepting
correction from God’s Word and from His true ministers (Hebrews
13:7, 17; Ephesians 4:1-16).
At the same time, a needed question addressed to you and me: Where will you and I be when it does set—and the new age dawns? Something to really think about now -- before it comes to be too late! We MUST develop and maintain a Passover attitude.
Brethren, God’s apostle cried out the WARNINGS consistently for over 50 years during his life-time; and his voice can be heard yet today and his writings can be read on our 14 websites of what we are now seeing coming to pass!
Are we preparing for what is just ahead of us by drawing nigh unto God in a close and warm relationship? Christ is our only real hope in an evil age coming to its destructive end! There is very little precious time left; as Scripture makes well known.
Please keep in mind where we now are in time and be prepared as much as we can for whatever may take place by being close to our God while keeping our eyes open to what is prophesied!
