SETTING THE STAGE
FOR AN UPHEAVAL IN EUROPE
have been una ble to bring about -
a politically united Europe.
The polít ica! leaders of Europe
have been
unable
to bring this polit–
ical union about. But an offer from
th e pope to use the power of his
office to join the na tions toge ther in
a resurrection of the "Holy Roman
Empire" would bri ng it about.
If antire ligion communism wins
polit ical dom inance of Europe as
the present trend indicates, that
would just abou t sound the death
knell of Roma n Ca tholicism in Eu–
rope.
This unprecedented situation now
calls for sudd en and drastic action.
ll would mean a
common currency
for a un ion of ten nations in Europe.
It could mean
one
milita ry force.
which wou ld be as strong as the
armed forces of the U.S.A. or the
U.S.S.R. - or mavbe even stronger.
The loss of Éurope's fai th in
America to protect her from the So–
vie t Un ion is another trend leading
directly to such an eventuality as 1
have described.
Sooner or later such a European
union will ta ke place. 1 have pre–
d icted this for 43 years !
It will astound and dumbfound
th e whole world when it happens.

As 1 have repeatedly said re–
cently, the governments of nations
are being overthrown at the rate of
one a month around the world .
Put all this together with Secre–
ta ry of State Kissinger's new "dom–
ino theory" of Europe: He sees th e
possibility o( one European nation
after anotbe r toppling and going
communi st. Ifthis begins to happen,
we can expect an eventual aggres–
sive reaction from the right. The
stage seems se t for th is tremendous
event.
