Christ?...or Impostor?
Ti
a real Jesus of Nazareth bore tittle
or no resemblance to the image
bove.
The Christ who lived and
taught in Galilea and Judea was not the
Jesus perpetuated by tradition. He was
not the frail, petulant, effemlnate Jesus
whose image has adomed religious art
for centurias. A strong and vigorous
young man, Jesus of Nazareth worlled
for years as a carpenter before he ba–
gan hls mlnistry. His hair was not
espe–
cially long. He didn't wear a lortorn,
morosa expression. And he had no halo
shimmering mysteriousty over hi s head.
Unhappily, much of the character and
message of the real Jesus Christ has
been obscured by tradition, half-truth
WRrTEro
and superstitlon. 11 you'd like to know
more about the difference
be–
tween the real Jesus and his
mysterious "impostor," write
for the free booklet entitled
The Real Jesus.
