finally had enough of war and killing.

mon sense" ro risk cosmocide by esca–
laring perry narionalisric quarrels inco
global conAicrs.
These are all pleasanr thoughrs and
lofty platirudes. Bur are rhey valid?
Has mankind found rhe way ro peace
ar Jase?
Uoderscanding the Problem
World leaders are ralking of peace.
Bur can rhey bring ro pass whar rhey
promise?
There was a prophet in che ancienc
land of Israel named Jeremiah. Look–
ing forward in rime roward che very
end of che six-rhousand-year age of
human exiscence, J eremiah was
moved ro give an amazingly accurare
descriprion regarding presenr-day
leaders of governmenrs. He said:
