Now, wirh rhis revealed knowl–

MAN?
Man is a crcarion of rhe living
God. Formed, for rhis li fe, of material
subsrance f rom rhe dust of rhe
ground, man neverrheless was made
in the image, likcness - form and
shapc - of rhe Almighry God. He
was made ro need, and ro havc and
cnjoy i f he will, a very special rela–
cionship wirh his Maker. He was
given che wonderful power of
MIND,
ro make possible chis relarionship
wirh his Maker.

Maker mighr begin His
SPIR ITUAL
CREATION.
Srill, even as composed of physical
matrer, Adam was nor complete. One
very vital ingredienr was missing -
rhough God provided it for the rak–
ing, and offered ir ro Adam and Eve.
Thar is His Holy Spirir.
The "cree of life" in rhc Garden of
Eden was rhe symbol of God's Holy
Spirit, which mighc be called che
"seed" or divine spirirual "sperm"
impaning, or lcading ro, erernal life.
Ir has been explained in this arricle
in what manner Adam's creation was
incomplere. The spirir of man impares

Thc very prcscnce of this spirie in
man gives him a spirirual , mora l, and

and erhical problems, but with

Whcn Adam and Eve disbelicved
Him and disobcycd Him - made rhc
wrong choice - God drove rhem out
of rhe Garden of Eden, "lesr he pur
forrh his hand, and rakc also of che
cree of life, and ear, and live for
ever ..." (Gen.
3:22).
So Adam was
cut off from God. And, since rhen,
"all have sinned" (except J esus
Chrisr), and cut rhemselves off from
conracr wirh God (Isaiah
59:2).
But rhe Biblical revelarion shows
us rhar on rcpenrance, and fairh,
rhrough Jesus Chrisr, whose dearh
paid our penalty in our sread, we may
be reconciled ro God and receive His
Holy Spirit - Goo's Spirir, added ro

We chen become Chrisc's

Now, "if rhc Spirit of him thar
raised up Jesus from rhe dead dwell in
you, he rhar raised up Chrisr from rhe
dead shall also quicken your morral
bodies by his Spirir rhat dwellerh in
you" (Romans 8:Ll).
