tude
is allowed to get

of

success is victory! We must sac–
rifice everything to thís end.

said one
prominent American professíonal foot–
ball coach.
He is by no means alone in this
"win-at·all-costs" philosophy. Another
famous coach lives and coaches from a
demanding code he calls hís "Ten
Commandments."
"Football comes first" is command–
ment number one. Duríng the six
months of football season, every player
is expected to put family, church, and
other aspects of hís life aside. FootbaU
must be the player's nurnber one
passion.
Commandment nurnber tbree says,
"lf
you can accept defeat and open your
pay envelope without feeling guilty,
then you're stealing." This coach adds,
"life without victories is like being in
prison."
Win, Win, Win
