WOR, which originates in New Jersey, now airs the program on Sundays at
11:30
a.m. (EST) as well as at the old time of
11:00
p.m. (EST). The new
time has already surpassed the old ti me as No. 1 in the country, drawing
as many as
1,800
responses for a single airing.
Atlanta's WTBS also airs the program a second ti me, at
1:05
a.m. (EST),
Monday. That's
10:05
p.m., Sunday, on the West Coast. The old time of
6:30
a.m. (EST), Sunday, still ranks in the top
10,
but it, too, has been
surpassed. The new time is consistently drawing the third- or fourth
highest response in the country each weekend. It has drawn as many as
1,400 calls for a single airing.

MEDIA S ERVICES UP DATE
Greetings once again from Media Services--Radio and Television.
1985
has
been a year of inspiring growth not only in the numb�r of stations that
are airing the "World Tomorrow" program worldwide, but also in the
response for booklets and personal visits. We in Media Services would
like to share with all of you some of the worldwide statistics that were
given to the Regional Directors at the November conference.
Three separate half-hour "W orld Tomorrow" television programs are
subtitled in Frenc h, Italian and Norwegian. These programs are identical
to the English "W orld Tomorrow" program with the exception of adding
subtitles at the bottom of the picture. After Mr. Armstrong introduces
the booklet(s) and "The Plain Truth" .at the end of the program, we have
an announcer in eac h foreign language offer the booklet Cs), and also go
through the articles in the latest French/Italian/Norwegian edition of
•The Plain Truth."
