been in charge of police investigations throughout the entire country. He
began receiving The PLAIN TRUTH in 1956, and he mentioned how the prin
ciples explained in the magazine had been very helpful to him in his police
work.
Our scattered members in Indonesia are visited once each year and they are
able to attend the Feast of Tabernacles in Malaysia. They also receive
sermon tapes from Australia on a regular basis.
Despite their isolation
from other members of God's Church and lack of regular Church services,
they continue to remain solidly loyal to God's Work and Mr. Armstrong.
Appreciation for the Second Ministerial Refreshing Program
Dear Mr. Armstrong:
My wife and I want to thank you so much for making the Refreshing
Program available to all local church elders. As farming is our
l_iving, we debated whether to take the time out of a busy season
and the money it would take for us to make such a trip, but after
only one day, we knew it was well worth it and of great benefit to
us. We were able to attend the last session and learned so much
from you and all the dedicated men who so diligently taught us
each day.
It had been ten years since we had been to Pasadena and believe
me, there was such a difference in the atmosphere of the campus.
This time smiles and friendliness prevailed.
We were treated
royally. We were not only spiritually fed, but physically fed as
well. God's Church is back on the track and we are thankful that
we have the opportunity to be a part of it. We now feel we can
better serve our brethren in the local church area. Thank you
again.

Mr. Joe Tkach:
I do want to thank you and all at Headquarters for all the work
that went into making the twenty-first session of the Refreshing
Program a success.
It was certainly enjoyable being at God's
college again--seeing the peace and harmony, meeting old friends,
and making new ones.
The two weeks there were certainly a
wonderful learning experience. I do feel "refreshed" and loaded
with much useful information to give to God's people.

Dear Mr. Tkach:
Though in the midst of moving to another church area when we came
to Pasadena, Sandee and I found the two weeks to be truly re
freshing, encouraging, helpful, and even relaxing.
It is hard to adequately thank you and the rest of the team at
Headquarters for all that you give to us when we are there. The
fine example of service, concern, and, above all, the support for
Mr. Armstrong which all of you show reflects your willingness to
submit to God, His government, His Spirit.
