PASTOR GENERAL'S REPORT, MAY 20, 1983
PAGE 5
We love you so much! We know God will help you out in the current
trials, because he has helped and protected you so many times
before.
Also, you are a prime example of doing God's Work so faithfully,
never becoming "weary of well doing"! Everything you do produces
such good fruit and peace because you obey the royal law of our
great God! We know it will require God's kingdom on earth to en
able the rest of humanity to realize this. We are in back of you
100%, Mr. Armstrong.
Mr. & Mrs. W.P. (Wichita, KS)
In spite of everything you go through, you keep uplifting and
encouraging us! Thank you. Your attitude inspires us and we in
turn are strengthened and united behind you ever more closely. I
shall continue to pray about this situation and the ultimate
triumph.
A.O. (Cornelius, OR)
Sorry to hear about the problems you are having. It seems that
Satan is trying to get at us all these days. Everyone I talk to
is having some kind of trial. I am sure we will win in the end if
we stay faithful. God said He would never leave us or forsake us.
I believe what He says, and I know you do too. Keep up the good
work and stay well. We are all behind you 100%.
V.D. (Kingsport, TN)
Thank you for setting us an example of zeal and dedication in
your service to God and to us in the Church. We pray that the
persecution brought against you will be short-lived and that you
can devote your full energy to God's Work.
R.O. (Cornelius, OR)
I'm increasing my prayers even more for you after receiving your
last letter. I felt I just had to write and tell you I'm behind
you and I don't care, because it's not important what this legal
mess is about. Please take courage. I feel that the Church as a
whole is behind you all the way.
Mrs. M.B. (Merrit Is., FL)
We were glad to get the latest co-worker letter. It's so wonder
ful the loving way you keep us, your family, informed of God's
Work. We thank you so very much. Our prayers are for you always,
and we are going to fast and pray more and get our hearts in the
Work more. We thank you again. We love you so much.

SOLZHENITSYN SPEAKS OUT (AGAIN); CHARACTERLESS AMERICA (AND BRITAIN);
WHAT ONE WEST GERMAN THINKS HIS COUNTRY SHOULD DO
In a recent "On the World Scene" article (April 1, 1983) we quoted excerpts
of speeches from Alexander Solzhenitsyn. TIME magazine, in its May 23,
1983 issue gives some insight into Solzhenitsyn's most recent address in
