Enthusiasm for German Visit

The reason I am writing this note is to let you know that I, together
with, I am sure, all other members of God's Church in Germany, Austria
and Switzerland, am overjoyed at the prospect of your visit to Bonn. May
God give you a safe and comfortable journey, vigorous health and spirit
ual inspiration!
In January your envoy, Mr. Gerald Waterhouse, fired us all with "spirit
ual rocket fuel," and I am sure we will have a "spiritual lift off" when
God's apostle himself appears. We are looking forward to the greatest
event in the history of Germany!

Third Tithe Blessings
I work in construction which has its ups and downs. The owner of our
company, and the whole crew (of which I am the foreman), are in the
Church. This year three of us are in our third tithe year. The company
has been tremendously blessed and we've just had our best June in the
last ten years.
This is our third third tithe year and we've never wanted or lacked any
necessary thing in any one of them. Even our thirteen-year-old car,
with 169,000 miles on it, has, just like the soles of the Israelites'
shoes while they wandered in the wilderness, not worn out. God's giving
way really works!

Broadcast Leads to Baptism
Just a word to let you know how your Sunday morning broadcast helped me
find the way to God's truth and the real Church of God. Most of the
things you were saying sparked my interest enough to send for the lit
erature you were offering. I say most, because as a "born again" Baptist
Christian, there were some things that I was sure were pure heresy.
Nevertheless, God led me to inquire about a local church and pastor.
With the minister's help and that of several members (but first and
foremost the Bible), I was led to see and accept the truth of God's Word.

Mr. Waterhouse Inspires
Last Friday night, the churches in Hagerstown and Cumberland, Maryland
and Winchester, Virginia had the privilege of hearing Mr. Gerald Water
house. Through his unique ability to portray God's Kingdom in vivid
reality, Mr. Waterhouse gave us a glimpse of the Kingdom and the "hope of
our calling." His dynamic message was truly a shot in the arm for all of
us, and his up-to-date information from headquarters was also most wel
come. Please convey to him our sincere appreciation for the inspiration
he imparted to us all.
