PASTOR GENERAL'S REPORT, August 15, 1980
Page 14
Dear Mr. Armstrong:
Having completed two weeks of the Ministerial Refresher Program,
my wife and I would like to express our appreciation for the pro
gram and for every thing you are doing in the Work. Everything
we have seen has impressed us.
In my ten years in the ministry I have never felt or seen such a
spirit of unity as currently exists. We feel more a part of the
team than ever before and consider it a genuine privilege to serve
with you in this Work.
The classes are exciting and informative. We appreciate what
you, Mr. Armstrong, and those in Ministerial Services are doing
to help us do our job better. My wife and I want to soak up as
much as we can while here, considering it our responsibility to
carry this information back to the local congregation.
In the last two years we have often heard you say that Jesus Christ
is "putting the Church back on the right track." Our experience in
this program is enabling us to more fully understand and appreciate
this statement as we see the fruits of God's Spirit manifested.
Noel and Becky Hornor
Greetings Mr. Armstrong:
Jan and I wanted to convey to you our heartfelt thanks for the new
Refresher Program for the ministery. Truly it is like a "breath of
fresh air." We know this program is going to have a very positive
effect upon the whole church when all of our ministers worldwide
will be speaking and acting from the same guidelines.
We want you to know the staff has done an excellent job in conducting
the program on your behalf. We also want to say a special thanks for
permitting the wives to attend. This program has been a big boost
for them as well.
Again we want you to know this program will be producing positive
fruit in the years to come.

Dear Mr. Armstrong:
Here we are back at Ambassador College! Back to classes and fine
fellowship. My wife and I are here for the second session of the
Ministerial Refresher Course, and it is great! It is good to hear
basic instruction on the Bible and to be regrounded on basic doc
trines. Thank you for making this course possible. We feel that
the entire ministry will benefit from this program.
