There is no end in sight to wars. The only visible prospect is escalation. Yet there
IS
a sure way the West could end the fear of nuclear war
immediately! This is the concluding installment of a two-part article.

ANY ASK,
"If
there
be
a God,
WHY
does
God
allow
wars?"
T hey argue:
"If
God is
LOVE,
he surely wou ldn't
want
all this
suffering. And if God is
ALL–
POWERFUL,
he could
prevent
wars! So why doesn' t he?"
The answer is, certainly God
cou/d
stop it- and in very few
years
will!
But, why in the future? Why did
he
ever
allow it?
Because a PURPOSE is being
worked out here below! Man was
put here on earth to develop righ–
teous CHARACTER! That purpose
necessitates
free moral agency in
man.
lt
is absolutely
necessary
that
man be given both the prerogative
and t he abili ty
to make his own
choice,
and exercise
his own will!
Otherwise,-NO CHARACTER!
WHY Must There Be WARS?
T here
is a way
that will prevent
w AR and produce PEACE-a
way
to
happiness and abundant well-being
for everybody!
The ETERNAL God offered man–
kind
that way- and
Jet mankind
choose!
The ETERNAL created and
set in motion inexorable
/aws
that

work- not only laws of chemistry
and physics- but aJso a basic SPIRI–
TUAL LAW, which is
the way
to
peace, happiness, abundant well–
being! That LAW is the basic CAUSE
of peace. Its violation is the CAUSE
of war!
Yes, it's just that simple!
But a rebellious huma nity–
priding itself on its rational pro–
cesses of "i ntellect"-willingly
blinds its minds to simple TRUTH,
and embarks on a system of compli–
cated and nonsensical ERROR–
MUCH OF IT IN THE NAME OF HIGH–
ER EDUCATION.
Human nature is basically rebel–
lious against God and the inexora–
ble laws of God (Rom.
8:7) .
The C reator laid before man the
KNOWLEDGE of his Jaw-the
knowJedge of HOW TO AVOID
WARS! Bu t yield i ng to human
nature- vanity, greed,
se/f-cen–
teredness- rebellion against God's
law of
PEACE- that is the
CAUSE
of WARS!
Natíons Never Needed
Go to
War!
In respect to war, the basic point of
God's spirituaJ law is the Sixth
Commandment. It says, simply,
"Thou shalt not kili."
If
all nations OBEYED that com–
mand of God and followed
the way
of LOVE and PEACE t here would be
no war!
But, an objector argues: "That's
a pretty platitude-but it's not
practical.
It
would never work! Any
nation t hat would follow that com–
mand would be attacked and beaten
by sorne other nation that was more
practica]!"
Oh, but that way WOULD WORK!
That way

The Creator understands human
nature better than we humans do!
He provided for that!
Do you think the Almighty Cre–
ator is so impractical that he leaves
those who OBEY HJM- who accept
HIS GOVERNMENT over tbem-be)p–

SUPREME! He Created the UNI–
VERSE-and he RULES SUPREME over
the enti re vast UNIVERSE. He RULES
over the earth, and whatever men do
in their politics-their wars-their
setting up of their own forms of gov–
ernment- is done ONLY BECAUSE
Goo ALLows IT!
God is SUPREME in GOVERNMENT!
A prime responsibility of GOVERN–
MENT is to PROTECT its own subjects!
So, open your eyes, now, to the
FACTS!
